Meeting Minutes. 17/01/2019

4/4 attended the meeting, duration of meeting 5 minutes. In the meeting we have discussed about having a post credit scene which involves the characters of the old man (or Karl) and the girlfriend as this will give an easter egg to the next film and give them a bit of an extra laugh from the film.



Meeting Minutes. 24/01/2019

4/4 attended the meeting, duration of meeting 5 minutes. In the meeting we discussed what will happen with the custom music for the film, such as what it will sound like and how it will match the tone of the film. The music will be added at a later date as it hasn't been finalized fully with the artists who are making the song.



Meeting Minutes. 31/01/2019

4/4 attended the meeting, duration of meeting 20 minutes. In the meeting we decided to have a voice over for the girlfriend during the main film and have a post credit scene with her visible as this will make the credit scene more valuable as people might wonder if there could reason on why they show the girlfriend at the end rather than during the main film. There will be a reason on this as this is the easter egg for another film.

The reason why you need to edit sound within media recordings is to remove the audio sections that are unnecessary, this would allow the piece to be shortened as this could have a more positive affect to the listener as they wouldn’t have to listen to an overly long recording as they would not be as interested in the recording. Radio Drama Pre-Production Log

When I started the radio drama, I needed to make sure that the script didn’t have musical numbers within and if there was any I re-arranged the words, if necessary, to make sense as a spoken line for the character. This would allow more chance for the audience to gain an opinion on the character as this would also gain the interest for the audience. After I finished looking for the musical numbers, I then looked for any sound effects that would need to be made using foley. This would help the audience visualise what is happening in the scene more vividly.   For recording the audio, me and my crew headed to the recording studio and set up the area that we would be using. The set up included turning the mac and making sure the speakers and xlr’s were plugged in to the correct places as to be more effective in the recording. Castlist

A castlist is useful as this helps the director and the crew know which actor is which character as they might need to do an action sequence and they would need to know who is involved and where they would be, along with their availability.
